XenCenter kann doch sowohl .hvd als auch .vmdk Images importieren, sollte also kein größeres Problem sein, das Image auch auf einem Xen Server laufen zu lassen.

Tja leider ist das bei XEN nicht ganz so einfach wie der Laie sich das vorstellt. Die Hardware wird mit einer ganz anderen HAL emuliert.

SATA oder IDE Festplatten erscheinen als /dev/hdd oder /dev/xvda

Systeme die also direkt die Hardware /dev/sda ansprechen wollen stürzen somit ab. z.b. die nativen HSImages hier im Board
