    @burn3r can you tell me how to get the modified bios working?
    not modified dmidecode and the new /sys/devices/virtual/dmi/id/product_serial returns your UUID of your vm with in front vmware-, not the serial you put in the modified VMWare bios.
    I know you can modify the vmware-vmx.exe (vmware workstation), but for vmware esxi this is not possible.
