      @surfer6969 Kannst Du bei der Virtualisierung der Synology denn die MAC Adresse nicht überschreiben? Weil das wäre ja der einfachste Weg…

      2x im Image ist auch korrekt.

      Aber Du willst die Seriennummer schon auf die von Deinem Original-Homeserver ändern? Weil die Software startet ja nur mit einer “korrekten” Seriennummer!

        So war die Idee, ich vermute mal fast das mein Problem ist das ich meine Serial vom HS2 Net benutzen will…und irgendwo habe ich gerade gelesen das dies vlt. gar nicht geht – das Format war damals anders glaube ich.
        Das könnte die Begründung sein?!

          Ich glaube nicht, dass HS2 Seriennummer mit dem HS4 gehen.

            OK, dann wird es wahrscheinlich daran liegen – dann muss ich mir für den externen Zugriff etwas ausdenken.

                Hallo Forenmember

                ich stehe komplett am Anfang. Wissen NULL! Stehe zu Beginn mit dem selben Problem da wie einige hier:

                dr_bcu2.py line 5 in MainOS Error…

                Ich hab jetzt weitergelesen aber kann Euch nicht folgen.
                Wie soll ich ein Projekt hochladen, wenn die VM nicht startet?
                …Zumal ich ja kein Projekt habe, woher auch wenn ich grad bei NULL starte?!

                Würde mir ein fertiges OVA (ja, bin auch QNAPer) helfen?
                Wenn ja, hätte jemand eins für mich?

                    Hallo zusammen,

                    jetzt stehe ich anscheinend mal wieder vor dem berühmten Wald und den Bäumen…

                    Ich habe die HS4.11.3 hyperV als auch vmware Variante heruntergeladen. Diese wollte ich in einer VirtualBox Version 7.0 importieren.
                    Leider startet die VM immer bis zu dem Punkt

                    end Kernel panic – not syncing: Attemted to kill the idle task!

                    hat jemand noch einmal die “konkreten” und richtigen Einstellungen der VirtualBox VM für mich?

                      Meine Installation unter VMWare Workstation 16 auf Windows lief einige Monate sehr stabil. Doch plötzlich, ohne erkennbaren Grund scheint die Kommunikation mit dem KNX-Bus nicht mehr sauber zu funktionieren. In der Visu abgefragte Werte (z.B. Temperaturwerte werden nicht mehrangezeigt Schaltbefehle werden aber übertragen.
                      Habe daraufhin eine Kopie der VMWare auf einem aneren Rechner installiert, dortläuft alles einwandfrei.
                      Was kann die Ursache sein? Es wurde am Rechner nichts verändert und auch kein Windows Update eingespielt.

                      UPDATE:
                      Wenn ich den PC anstatt über WLAN per LAN-Kabel anschließe, gibt es das Problem nicht. Suche aber immer noch nach der Ursache und Fehlerbehebung!
                      UPDATE 2: Zu früh gefreut, Problem besteht weriterhin auch bei LAN Adapter
                      UPDATE 3: Habe “VMWARE-Workstation” neu installiert. scheint das problem jetzt gelöst zu haben!

                        Solved – via project upload certificates could be deleted and new ones will be issued – but anyway, via that link above it is still not working…

                          On synology everything is working ok.
                          But how I can install this image on Truenas?
                          I tried to install it like homeassistant:

                              Dear TopFly, dear sinn3r,

                              Thanks for the super idea portating the HS to a virtulisized hardware.

                              My HS broke down after 8 years, this solution could help a lot!

                              I tried the explanation to run it on a proxmox7.2 Server as explained by TopFly with Version 4.11.3.

                              However when I start the VM, I get a error massage that there is no boot file found.

                              I tried multiple times (different Kernels, mountings, etc).

                              Is this method with Proxmox7.2 and 4113 still working?

                              EDIT: in Options – Boot Order the SATA Hdd needs to activated and in the 1st Position, now it works!!!

                                For now the 4.12 version does not work virtualized.
                                Whether an additional check was built in or the image has a fundamental flaw is not clear at this point.
                                I invested quite some time now, but didn’t succeed. If anyone want’s to take over, I can offer some help.
                                There is one error message that doesn’t come up on a real HS, but I have no idea where it comes from.

                                  I have it running virtualized.
                                  I was still running debian 9 and needed to upgrade to 11.
                                  What error are you having?
