So ohne alles geht posten (???)

Hab mit der VM (hier aus dem Forum auf ´nem QNAP-NAS) Verbindungsprobleme und ein paar Fehlermeldungen

laufen auf sowas in der Art raus (ungefähr – kann es nicht kopieren und Screenshot nimmt er nicht :/ )

“Flash-Speicher Gira FS” das sollte eigentlich ein Link zu einem Bild sein, funktioniert aber irgendwie nicht.
Probier mal mit Rechtsklick, dann Bild öffnen. So gehts bei mir zumindest.

Hallo bin neu hier im Forum ,habe fleissig gelesen und probiert und habe es auch geschafft das vwware image 4.7 auf meinen pc zu bringen funktioniert alles super . kann von der app zugreifen und auch vom client alles geht . nur bin ich zu blöd den dmidecode anzupassen , brauche ich da ein Programm ,da ich ja eine vmdk Datei habe oder kann ich das im linux im hs machen ,sorry kenne mich da nicht so aus und würde mich freuen über eine Hilfestellung.

Achja vielen dank noch an euch alle ,ihr seid echt klasse

PS.ich habe schon den hs3 nachgebaut auf einen Igel läuft seit einen jähr problemlos , aber da war die mac Adresse besser einstellbar

das ursprüngliche dmidecode-Programm ist gelöscht, das “neue” ist lediglich eine kleines Skript, das eine feste MAC-Adresse zurückmeldet.
Einfach per SSH am Homeserver anmelden und dann mit einem Texteditor (joe, vi) die Datei bearbeiten. Alternativ kannst Du auch den mc (Midnight Commander) öffnen und damit die Datei bearbeiten.
Die dmidecode-Datei liegt unter /usr/sbin/

Hallo ich noch mal; danke sinn3r hat wunderbar geklappt , war ja nicht so schwer wenn man sich halt auskennt.jetzt kann ich auch meine Bausteine benutzen die an eine Lizenz gebunden sind.Mein hs4 läuft jetzt auf ein ASROCK E350M1 mit einer 16GB SSD Festplatte ich vorher angepasst hatte, er hat zwar keine serielle aber ich hatte das Projekt ja vorher in VMware schon importiert und brauche daher nur noch LAN.

Hi, habe das image in Virtualbox laufen. Es startet aber (anscheinend) die hs_main nicht. Versuche ich das von hand kommt “forbidden”.

meine dmidecode habe ich auf die gleiche Mac geändert die er auch unter ifconfig ausspuckt. Jetzt weiss ich nicht mehr weiter :(

Hallo @wanni,

Dir ist aber schon klar, dass der Kopierschutz über die MAC Adresse läuft?
Daher ändern wir ja auch dmidecode, so dass immer eine gültige Adresse gemeldet wird, hs_main ruft dmidecode auf, um die MAC Adresse abzufragen.
Die MAC Adresse der VM interessiert nicht, die kannst Du so lassen, wie sie ist.

hs_main kann man ohne Parameter nicht starten.
“hs_main main” wäre der korrekte Aufruf.

Hi sinn3r, ja mit vielem lesen ist mir einiges klar geworden. Inzwischen hab ich die ifoncfig und dmidecode auf eine Mac Addresse aus dem HS4 Bereich geändert. Der Ausgabeschirm in der VirtualBox läuft jetzt auch wesentlich weiter als vorher, bleibt dann aber bei einem timeou hängen. es werden 3 Zeilen aus diversen .py skripten angezeigt … jetzt weiss ich wieder nicht weiter :(

Hi all,

first of all thanks for the hs image, but I have a problem changing the ip address.
I need an ip in the range of 192.168.0. … but it stays at 192.168.10 when I change the ip in the linux vm.

The vm is runing on vmware esxi.
Somebody who can help?

Hello,

The updat HS4.7 is running in a vmware fusion VM and it works, can reach it, changed mac adress etc. Can upload a project with experte 4.7. But I have one problem; it does not send telegrams to the KNX network….
I have a Homeserver 1 as gateway (that one is connected via serial), also a MDT KNX gateway and a EIBD running on a VM. The project is accepting the various gateways but it simply oes not work.
I can see not bus traffic in ETS 4, but I do see some sort of traffic on the EIBD monitor. But it shows only messages with a “Recv (017) : lot of hex” and never a msg like ” Send (016) : lots of hex” THose messages come from the KNX network or from my old (hardware) HS 1.
Does anybody have a clue where this is going wrong?

Just some extra info; looking at the traffic with wireshark; i can see that the HS sends the right messages with destination 224.0.23.12 to port 3671. See packet below.
501155 946.852983 192.168.178.122 224.0.23.12 KNXnetIP 60 ROUTING_INDICATION 3671 > 3671| cEMI: L_Data.ind

The contents of the packet show the right physical adress etc and the right source adress.
Somehow the packet is not put on the KNX network bt one of the gateways…

Ok, last addition.

Found out that the homeserver and the MDT IP gateway only support tunneling. In experte 4.7 it seems you can only add a multicast gateway to the configuration. My EIBD deamon on the VM starts as well as tunneling server with the following startup sequence:

eibd –trace=5 –listen-local –Tunnelling –Discovery –GroupCache ipt:192.168.178.200 –Server

Does anybody know how to start it as router with setting it up to route towards my gateway at 192.168.178.200?

Hi!

Does someone else have this “QC configuration error” withe Experte 4.7 and Windows 10?
The old vm worked well but I get now this failure from vm and PC as well. Could it be a problem that the project is on a NAS??

QC says then

.net 3.5 and 4.7 is (I hope properly) installed.
I tried 4.8 and it seem to be no problem there. But it stopped because of different versions …

Hello,
Sorry that I ask this, but my knowledge of Linux systems is limited.
You say to change the dmidecode with the new mac address. How do you do that?
I use the program PuTTY to logon to the HS, but witch commands do I have to enter to change the mac?
I’ve searched the forum, I found a lot of things bus due to my limited knowledge I’m not able to do it.
