Hi,

I recently bought a home license for ETS6.
Now I am trying to convert my old unsigned project for ETS5 (5.5.1) to ETS6.
I converted it into a signed project in a demo version of ETS 5.7.7 (via upgrade in version 5.5.1) with the help in this forum.
However, I cannot open or export it through the demo version (5 devices limit and I have around 45).
Can someone help, e.g. by exporting it via a licensed ETS5 version?
I can send a zip of the project store folder.

jeder mir etwas tieferen Linux-Kenntnissen kann sich um die HS-Images kümmern, im Prinzip ergänze ich nur diverse Treiber, die für die Virtualisierung notwendig sind und patche die Seriennummern- und Boardtyp-Abfrage. Aber solange ich selber den HS nutze, wird es weiter Updates geben. Mein Image ist ja nicht geschützt, jeder kann sich anschauen, was ich wie ändere.

Klar, es geht um lizenztechnische Gründe. Gira entwickelt den HS ja weiter – wenn auch etwas langsam ;)
Wenn man nicht die entsprechende Hardware zuhause stehen hat, betreibt man die VM sicher nicht mit Giras Segen.

Für externe Geräte, die nicht KNX sind, gibt es sicherlich bessere Integrationen als über den HS (z.B. HomeAssistant, ioBroker, OpenHAB, …). Die lassen sich ja ebenfalls virtuell auf demselben Server parallel betreiben. HomeAssistant bekommt bald einen ETS-Projekt-Import (mit Unterstützung der KNX.org), dann wird der sich sicherlich als Ergänzung zum Homeserver durchsetzen. Noch ist es viel manuelle Arbeit, KNX zu integrieren.
ioBroker mit OpenKNX und node.red Adapter ist auch eine super Sache, um Geräte aus den unterschiedlichen SmartHome Universen zu verbinden und deutlich einfacher in der Handhabung. OpenHAB nutze ich selber nicht, hat aber auch eine große Fanbase.

Zu den Hekatrons, die sprechen ja angeblich digitalStrom, dafür gibt’s entsprechende Adapter bei ioBroker und OpenHAB, habe zwar dieselben Melder, aber ohne das Funk-Gateway, daher habe ich das nicht getestet.

Gardena können alle Plattformen (auch der HS mit einem entsprechenden Plugin). Schau mal im KNX User-Forum (knx-user-forum.de). Zugang zum AppShop braucht man nicht, die meisten wichtigen Erweiterungen sind von Usern des KNX User-Forums entwickelt worden.

Wichtig ist nur, dass alle Basisfunktionen deines Hauses auch ohne den HS bzw. eine andere Software funktionieren, so ein Server kann immer mal abschmieren und dann willst Du sicher nicht ohne Heizung oder Rollosteuerung dastehen.

Hi,

Did anybody succed to import project from ETS 5.7.4 knxprod to 5.6.6.
I think on 5.7.4 there is an issue with rollerblind implementation.
I want to avoid to have to manualy configure many changes again.
Eventually looking for 5.7.7…

it worked for me by putting the cracked ets5 back into a demo and then exporting the project… so far I haven’t had any problems with the import into legal versions.

Not sure what you mean exactly, and as everyone here uses Gira Homeserver, which may do everything you want to do (any much more) without any coding and that directly communicates with the bus (without any delays) I still see no reason why you want to do your own webserver-project. I fear you will invest hundrets of hours of your private time and in the end you will switch to some other commercial or open source project and trash all your hard work…
