@sinn3r Ich habe jetzt das Image einmal mit VMware 15 getestet leider mit dem selben Ergebnis wie bei @ich – error: (Errno 101) Network ist unreachable.
Auf dem QNAP-NAS hängt das ganze dann am Fehler von @Hendrik – File “./../hs_main/dr.bcu2.py”, line 287, in Main OS Error: [Errno 5] Input/Output error und kommt dort nicht weiter.

Kannst du bitte eine fertige OVF von der VM reinstellen, irgendwie klappt es nicht ganz die Disk ohne Fehlermeldungen zu starten. Bei SATA als Controller startet die VM nicht durch und bei IDE erhalte ich bootlopp.

@mosjka1 wie ich schon geschrieben hatte, nutze ich selber nur Hyper-V und kann daher auch VMware nicht parallel installieren.
Kev kann sich die VMware-Seite hoffentlich anschauen.

Ich habe mir nun doch selber VMware Workstation auf einem Laptop installiert.
Im Image habe ich den fehlenden Netzwerktreiber nachgerüstet.
Läuft bei mir nun auch unter VMware Workstation.

Für Probleme mit den unterschiedlichen NAS bräuchte ich mehr Infos:
a) bootet das Image grundsätzlich?
b) welche Netzwerkkarte emuliert das NAS?

Hi,

das image hängt im NAS in einer Schleife, er finden die ganzen dateien nicht.
Direkt einspielen kann man es nicht, da er die HDD nicht findet.
Wandelt man es vom VMPlayer in ein OVF um, geht er in die Bootschleife, da er die ganzen HSDateien nicht findet.

Wenn er die ganzen Files nicht findet, dann kann er /dev/sda1 nicht mounten, was wiederum bedeutet, dass kein Treiber für den SATA Controller geladen wird. Kannst Du ein normales Debian booten und mir dann eine Liste schicken, welche Treiber geladen wurden? Eventuell kann ich dann den Treiber auch noch nachrüsten.

a) VMware ESXi hat ein anderes Diskformat als die VMware Workstation, daher muss das Image konvertiert werden. VMware hat hierfür die nötigen Tools.
b) wenn Du den Storage-Controller auf IDE umstellst, dann findet der HS kein /dev/sda1, womit er dann das Dateisystem auch nicht mounten kann. Von daher ist das, was der HS macht, schon korrekt. Wenn Du a) durchgeführt hast, dann sollte das aber laufen.

Die v2 läuft bei mir nun unter VMware Workstation 15. Ich kann erfolgreich Schaltbefehle absetzen, erhalte jedoch keine Statusrückmeldungen vom Bus. Das hat bisher immer problemlos funktioniert. Wie ist das bei dir ?

@ich also unter Hyper-V läuft bei mir alles problemlos mit diesem Image. In VMware habe ich mein Projekt nicht übertragen, da ich das Image ja sauber lassen wollte, sondern habe nur den Remote-Neustart vom Experten getestet.
Zeigt die Konsole denn irgendwelche Fehler an??

Wäre mir nichts aufgefallen. Der HS bootet sauber durch – ohne offensichtlichen Fehler. Übertrag´ doch mal dein Projekt auf die VM unter VMware. Eventuell tritt das Problem bei dir auch auf.
